Jin Shin Jyutsu® Self-Help
”The Main Central”

To help your-self, with The Main Central… You may lay down or sit in a comfortable chair. Stay in each Safety Energy Lock until you feel is time to move your hand. Be aware to inhale and exhale and enjoy.

  1. Place the Right Hand on the Center of the head. Leave the Right  Hand here until 6th Step. Place the Left Hand on the Forehead. Hold for 4–5 minutes or until the pulses you feel at the fingertips of your two hands synchronize with each other.

  2. Move the fingertips of the Left Hand to the tip of the Nose

  3. Move the fingertips of the Left Hand to the Top of your Sternum  ( center of chest )

  4.  Move the fingertips of the Left Hand to the Center of your  Sternum

  5. Move the fingertips of the Left Hand  to the Base of Sternum

  6. Move the fingertips of the Left Hand  1 inch above your  umbilicus (navel )

  7. Move Left Hand to the Top of your Pubic Bone

  8. Keep your Left Hand fingertips in place and move your Right Hand to cover your coccyx

    * Hold each place for 4–5 minutes or until the pulses synchronize.

Jin Shin Jyutsu’s hands-on treatment has three phases: awareness that we need help, the knowledge of what hand positions can help, and the application of them. For example, when we realize that we are under stress, we are sensing that our shoulders tense and our breath is rapid and shallow. In Jin Shin Jyutsu®, we learn that the Main Central Flow restores serenity to our breath. A serene breath is the result of our energy flowing properly. Thus, we might choose to do a Main Central Flow to Main Central Flow to restore ourselves during stressful times.
